Group Lessons

Group Lessons run for 2 hours and include all equipment needed (safe, soft-boards and wetsuits or rash-vests depending on preference). Besides us providing you with a fun and enjoyable experience, our focus during this lesson is primarily to teach you how to catch waves and handle yourself and your board in the surf.

Group lessons run for two hours and have a ratio of 8 students to one instructor. Cost is $60pp and includes all equipment.
Private lessons run for 90mins carpark to car park and can be tailored to suit your needs.

$60 per person (between 5 and 8 per instructor)

Private Lessons

Private lessons run for just over one hour and include all equipment needed (safe, soft-boards and wetsuits or rash-vests depending on preference).
The focus for a private lesson really depends on the needs of the client and their confidence and ability levels. You will receive more intensive personalised instruction in this session.

Private lessons run for 90mins carpark to carpark and can be tailored to suit your needs.

Costs are as follows; (student to instructor ratio)

1 student per instructor $150
2 students per instructor $90pp
3 students per instructor $80pp
4 students per instructor $70pp
5 or more students per instructor $60pp

2 Hour group lesson $60pp

Lessons include surf safety and awareness, surfboard awareness, paddling techniques, wave selection, techniques on standing up and riding the waves.

We also offer five-day courses for kids and adults during the Christmas school holidays for the absolute beginner or those who wish to extend and build upon their surfing skills. The price is $250pp.

We meet in the car park at Cave Beach for all lessons unless otherwise specified 10mins prior to lesson commencing.

Rippers Packages (3 and 5 sessions)

Our Rippers packages include 3 or 5 x 2hour group lessons.
This program is designed to build upon skills learnt in the previous lesson/s. Upon completion, most clients are surfing confidently and independently. This is a great program for people looking to learn to surf and is also very popular with families looking for holiday activities for the family. It is also a great confidence booster for kids in the surf!

3x lesson Rippers Package $165pp

Board and Wetsuit Hire

Board hire  $40 per board per day
Wetsuit hire  $10pp per day
Wrap Rax hire $10pp per day
